Participating in a higher level baseball program can be an expensive endeavor for most families. Not only do you pay for program dues and jerseys; but your family also pays personal equipment & travel to get your player to and from practices and games.

For most families, this can be the most expensive portion of the monthly fee. However, we are blessed to have a partnership with Westbury Christian School to use their baseball campus at the Westbury Christian Athletic Complex during their off-season. Practices are free and event fees for games are dramatically reduced from your typical tournament fees.

We are fortunate to have amazing coaches that took the time to become USA Baseball certified and undergo a thorough background check. To get that kind of skill level and professionalism, generally costs a lot of money. However, all of our coaches choose not to charge at all for their participation with the team.

Tournament Fees
You can’t practice or play in tournaments or events without team insurance. However, it’s not expensive, as it tends to cost about $150 per team.
Coach Murphy generously sponsors this portion of the fee every season.

Tournament Fees
Most teams that play in tournaments pay up to $500 or more to participate in a tournament to play a minimum of 3 games.
The Westbury Wildcats limit their tournament team roster to the 11 players based on performance in practice and character leading up to a tournament. The family of the players chosen for a particular tournament will split the cost of the tournament fees with the other families of selected players.
Family Costs: $50 to $60 per player per tournament.
The is very different from other teams because most teams make you pay a monthly fee to be in program to pay for tournaments, coaching, insurance, and facility fees regardless if you are able to attend or not.

Due to the great partnerships we have with custom uniform shops in the area, the Westbury Wildcats have been able to reduce the cost of jerseys and hats.
Since baseball certain parts of the uniform vary, parents are responsible for purchasing a pair of Champro gray and white baseball pants (with navy piping on side), navy socks, navy baseball belt, and navy batting helmet on their own if they are selected and participate on the Tournament Team
Initial cost of jerseys and hats are as follows:
- Baseball Hat - $27 per hat*
- Jersey (x3) - $45 each
- 3D Helmet Sticker - $10 Each
*family members can purchase multiple hats for their player or other family members. Custom fan gear and practice jerseys can be purchased at Team Store.

Periodically, there is an opportunity to do a little team and family bonding by going to sporting events together, award ceremonies, pool parties, eating out together, bowling nights, etc. None of these events are mandatory, but they typically are the most fun.
When this happens, the families are on their on when it comes to paying for their share unless there is a facility rental or group ticket package that has to be purchased in advance. In this case the program management will communicate with everyone attending on what the cost are.
The Westbury Wildcat Travel Baseball Program also has a Team Store where players can purchase custom practice jerseys and gear and family members can purchase fan gear.
